Coaching explained
Coaching is both a collaborative relationship and a solution-focused, action-oriented process. It is designed to augment your skills and performance, nurture your wellbeing and facilitate personal and professional growth. Throughout our coaching relationship, we will engage in direct, personal and often challenging conversations. In these conversations, I will create a supportive space for you to set meaningful goals; challenge, explore and replace outdated patterns of thought and behaviour; and facilitate positive change. I will offer you evidence-based tools and techniques, lines of enquiry and suggestions to support your growth; however, it is your responsibility to enact change.
As coaching is not therapy, should past or present mental health issues become salient during the coaching relationship, we can discuss how to best address these with the support of a qualified specialist.
Confidentiality
During coaching sessions you may disclose current affairs and future plans, including highly sensitive personal and professional information. I will not, at any time, share this information with a third party or use it for my own benefit. This statement is intended to be as confidential as relevant state or federal laws allow.
Cancellations
Out of respect for each other’s time, if you need to reschedule any of our sessions, please endeavour to let me know at least 48 hours in advance. I will extend the same courtesy to you.
Ethics
I commit to working within the Ethical Codes of the International Coach Federation.
