As the owner of a small business, who can I talk to?
It’s common for small business owners (and early entrepreneurs) to feel quite isolated. You are on your own for many hours every day and, without a business partner or board of directors to talk with, you shoulder the full responsibility of decision-making.
To make well-rounded decisions, it’s important for small business owners to have access to:
a diversity of perspectives
a safe space to explore new ideas
a trusted source who’s ‘been there’ before you.
There are three obvious resources that you can access to meet the above needs and facilitate optimal decision-making. These include joining small business forums; engaging an entrepreneur coach; and seeking out a mentor that is approximately five times as successful as you currently are.
