10 minutes to a new you

I am often asked how to create change with ease. The answer is twofold: a combination of mindset and practice. Let’s take a closer look.

Mindset

I have an innate love of change. When shifts occur in and around me, I take this as a sign of good health and vibrancy. Change indicates the river of life is flowing strong. There is no stagnant energy here!

Of course, each of us has a different story around change. Some of us feel excited by it, others anxious. Regardless of your history and predisposition, you can learn strategies to boost your confidence around change. In this way, you can lean into change to create a strong flow of opportunities for yourself.

Practice

Every Sunday morning, I conduct a 10-minute weekly review. This exercise gives me the chance to reflect on the week gone-by and up my game for the week ahead. It’s such a powerful way to take control of the direction your life is flowing in.

The weekly review requires you to answer the following five questions. It’s a brilliantly simple and effective framework, for which credit goes to Benjamin Harvey of Authentic Education.

  1. What specific progress am I grateful for this week?

  2. What challenges did I encounter?

  3. What solutions did I discover?

  4. What are my priorities for the coming week?

  5. How will I get more out of life this week?

If you give it a try, let me know how it goes. And if you have any questions around creating positive change in your life, please feel free to contact me.
